woods, beautiful finishes, and attractive door
styles to choose from to complement your home,
lifestyle, and taste. With our ability to
reconfigure or add cabinets, as well as incorporate
modern accessories and features, the design
possibilities are endless. Your new “dream kitchen”
is completed in just a few days, and at a fraction
of the cost of custom.
A Beautiful New Kitchen in Less Than a Week
When the much anticipated day
arrives for your kitchen makeover to begin, American
Wood Reface first carefully removes and discards all
old cabinet doors and drawer fronts, existing
moldings, and countertops, if desired.
At this time we can alter existing cabinetry to make
them more functional, such as reconfiguring cabinets
to make room for a larger refrigerator, or to add a
microwave above the range. We can add new pantries,
wall, or base cabinets. We install your preferred
upgrades, such as roll-out trays, lazy susans, trash
bins, wine racks, or many other available options.
We can also adjust the countertop height, which may
be needed in kitchens where new floors have been
installed.

Next we cover all
exposed face frames with 1/4" solid hardwood
in your choice of wood and finish. The sides
and bottoms are also covered to give you the
look of high-end furniture. All wood for
each project is prefinished in our own
professional finish facility under
controlled conditions for consistency of
color. With American Wood Reface’s 1/4"
solid wood refacing system there is no worry
of peeling of veneers or delamination, as in
other refacing systems. A kitchen refaced by
American Wood Reface craftsmen is comparable
in quality and finished appearance to custom
cabinetry.
Now we install new
hand-selected, solid hardwood doors in your
choice of wood, style, and finish. Doors are
hung with premium adjustable concealed
hinges. If desired, we can upgrade drawers
with new dovetail wood drawer boxes. New
solid hardwood matching drawer fronts are
installed, then doors and drawers are fitted
with fashionable new knobs or pulls of your
choice. Trim moldings, valances, decorative
shelves, and other visible areas of the
kitchen are usually replaced with solid
wood. |
Any additional upgrade options
are installed at this time, including new
countertops, sinks, faucets, backsplashes, wall
tile, or appliances.
American Wood Reface can expertly finish off your
new kitchen with cove or crown moldings, door or
window casings, new sills, wainscoting or baseboard,
at your choosing.
During the process of refacing your kitchen, we keep
our work area neat and clean up each evening before
we leave. When we are finished, we completely clean
the entire work area and haul away all debris.
