Cabinet Refacing in Charlotte North Carolina

They call Charlotte North Carolina the Queen City. With such a regal sobriquet, wouldn’t it make sense for much of the city to inspire some true reverence?

At American Wood Reface, we think that this idea should apply to your whole home including, and especially, your kitchen.

But if your Charlotte kitchen, in its current state, makes you want to dig a moat around it to keep others from entering and seeing it, then maybe we should talk.

Yes, you absolutely can do something about those battered old cabinets of yours. You can create extra space and make your kitchen more functional. And you can beautify and revitalize it from top to bottom.

In short, you can vanquish everything that’s holding you back from rolling out the red carpet to your kitchen.

Let American Wood Reface show you how!

What’s in a (Nick)name?

Charlotte, the Queen City, was named for Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, a German princess who reigned as the Queen Consort of Great Britain and Ireland. Her husband was King George III, the monarch who lost the American colonies.

Despite this, Charlotte retains this regally-inspired name today, of course, much like Mecklenburg County (of which Charlotte is the county seat).

Charlotte also retains another nickname from the 18th century, in this case, one derived from the American Revolutionary War.

The British General Charles Cornwallis occupied the city for a time during the war, but was eventually expelled by the local residents. This caused the commander to condemn Charlotte, saying that it was “a hornet’s nest of rebellion.”

To this day, Charlotte is still sometimes referred to as “The Hornet’s Nest,” and, of course, the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA honor this moniker.

A Rich History

Charlotte has earned some fine nicknames for itself, but the city and its history are rich beyond that. Quite literally, in at least one case.

America’s second-largest banking center is—you guessed it—Charlotte North Carolina!

The city is the home of the corporate headquarters for both Truist Financial and Bank of America. In addition, Charlotte also hosts the headquarters of Wells Fargo Securities.

Charlotte was also once the home of the Charlotte Mint, which produced gold coins. This was in response to the first gold rush in the United States, which occurred in the Charlotte area in the beginning of the 19th century.

A Regal Kitchen That’s as Good as Gold

So, we’ve established that Charlotte’s name is regally inspired, that Charlotte hosted a gold mint, and that Charlotte today boasts a wealth of financial center headquarters.

With all that in mind, are you really going to be content with letting your Charlotte kitchen look and function at any level other than its very best?

At American Wood Reface, we believe that you shouldn’t have to settle.
